About the cards

These OCD grounding cards are here to help you respond differently to intrusive thoughts. Instead of trying to fix or analyse intrusive thoughts, they help you practise letting them come and go without engaging with them. The cards follow the gold-standard approach for OCD, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). The idea is to stay with feelings of uncertainty and let discomfort and the urge to figure things out pass.

Who made the cards?

The cards were made by Aishwarya from Edit Anxiety, in collaboration with psychotherapist Mamta from Three Point Counselling. We hope you find the cards helpful in moments when you need a bit of support.
